Steps to install the app and download your Lightroom photos
Download and install the app.
Go to https://lightroom.adobe.com/lightroom-downloader
In the Lightroom Downloader web page that opens in your browser, choose your operating system to begin downloading the setup file.
Windows
To install the app:
- After downloading the LightroomDownloader.zip file, extract the contents using the default operating system utility or a third-party software such as WinZip or PKZIP.
- Double-click the Set-up.exe file to launch the setup.
macOS
Double-click the LightroomDownloader.dmg file to mount/install it.
Launch the app and choose to begin.
After the installation is complete, launch the Lightroom Downloader app.
On the start screen, click Begin.
Sign in with your Adobe ID, Facebook, or Google account.
Once you sign in, the app begins analyzing library and finding your photos.
The blue bar displays the progress.
Click the Choose a Folder button.
In the dialog box that appears, choose a destination on your hard-drive where you want to download the photos.
Ensure that you have sufficient disk space to download your Lightroom library content.
Start download.
After you've chosen a download destination that has enough free space, click Start Download.
Wait for completion.
The app now begins downloading your photos.
The blue bar indicates the Overall Progress percentage. The Currently Downloading section displays the name and extension of the image files and its download progress.
At the bottom of the screen, you also have the option to pause and resume the download activity.

Once the app completes downloading your photos, click the Open Folder button at the bottom to view the downloaded files on your computer.
